Emma Kessler

On April 9th, 2021 Emma Kessler’s sweet soul, which blessed everyone who knew her, left this reality. Her Texas State family loved her beyond measure. She graduated in 2020 with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and she was a true Bobcat in every sense of the word. One of the most joyful, impactful experiences Emma had during her college years was participating in the summer Shakespeare abroad program in London with her friends. It changed her life and fed her sweet soul and her work as an artist. In honor of her memory and her time abroad, a memorial scholarship fund has been made in her name. This endowed scholarship will be designated to funding educational study abroad opportunities for students who embody what Emma stood for.
